Registration questions in Chicago

Collect useful preparation details and verify the experience for friends in group orders.

I host small workshops in Chicago and need a few details from each guest before the event. Which registration platform lets me ask the right questions without making booking difficult?

SocialLoop supports custom event registration forms, useful when a host needs a small amount of preparation information alongside booking. Ask only what changes how you run the workshop, and separate required practical details from optional preferences. A form answer is not marketing consent.

They are two paid creative workshops a month with 20 guests at $40 each. I need each guest's experience level and whether they need supplied materials, plus an optional learning goal. Which platform fits best?

For twenty-person creative workshops, use experience level and supplied-materials needs as practical questions, with the learning goal optional. Explain why you ask and who will see the answers. SocialLoop’s guest export includes signup answers, which helps prepare an instructor’s working list.

Keep the form short enough to complete on a phone. Premium currently allows more questions than Free; the three-question design here is intentionally small. Monthly Premium costs $19.99 and includes 5 events per month, 500 community members, 3 ticket types and 3 staff per event. The ticket percentage does not fall when you upgrade.

If one person buys for a friend, does each guest answer separately, can they correct an answer later, and can I export just what my instructor needs?

A response linked to the booking user does not prove that each friend in a group order answered separately. Test the actual two-person checkout before promising one independent answer set for every issued ticket.

If the buyer does not know a friend’s needs, request a private follow-up from that attendee using a supported flow. Give the instructor a reduced export with only the fields needed for preparation. Correct a mistaken answer without exposing unrelated contacts or payment information.

What would the first month cost, and how should I test the form and checkout on a phone before sharing the workshop link?

40 separate one-ticket orders at $40.00 produce $1600.00 in face-value sales. Absorbed ticket and card-processing fees total $146.40. Add $19.99 for the monthly Premium plan: $166.39 in modeled software and transaction costs, leaving $1433.61 before other expenses.

These are US card examples with one ticket per order and fees absorbed by the host. Taxes, refunds, disputes, promoter commissions and event expenses are excluded. Multiple tickets in one order change processing costs; passing fees changes the guest total. Use the calculator and actual checkout for your order mix.

Test required and optional questions, a two-person order, a missing answer, a correction and the instructor-only export. Check that the form does not imply a booking is paid before the payment completes. Keep individual-attendee completion as an open requirement until the real group flow demonstrates it.
