Is there really a free tier?
Yes. The Free plan is genuinely usable — 3 active events, 15 invitations per week, 1 contact list, 3 ticket tiers per event, 2 staff per event, AI event creation, and mobile check-in scanner. No credit card required. Most hosts start here and upgrade when they hit a plan limit.
What's the 5% ticket fee?
When you sell a paid ticket on SocialLoop, the platform takes 5% of the ticket price. This is standard for event ticketing platforms (Eventbrite's combined fee is typically higher; Luma is similar). Free RSVPs have zero fee. The 5% is consistent across Free, Pro, and Business.
How does the affiliate / community-partner program pricing work?
The affiliate program itself is included in Pro and Business plans (not Free). You set the commission rate per ticket tier — that commission is paid out of your ticket revenue (you keep 95% minus your commission rate). Stripe Connect handles the payout automatically post-event. No additional platform fee for running affiliates.
Are Immersive Invitations included?
Pro includes 3 AI-generated Immersive Invitation pages per month. Business includes 10 per month. Free does not include Immersive Invitations — Free events use a standard event page format.
What's the difference between Pro and Business?
Pro caps active events at 25, contact lists at 10, ticket tiers at 10 per event, and Immersive Invitations at 3/month. Business removes all caps (unlimited events / lists / ticket tiers) and adds Email & SMS campaigns, API access, dedicated onboarding, and 10 Immersive Invitations/month. Business fits hosts running 25+ events or wanting deeper integration.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Annual plan switches prorate. Monthly plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer enterprise / custom plans?
Business is the highest published tier. For larger orgs needing volume-specific terms, dedicated CSM, or custom contracts, get in touch — we work with teams running multi-thousand-attendee conference series and recurring event programs at scale.
How do annual plans save money?
Annual billing saves ~17% vs. monthly. Pro: $499.99/year vs $599.88/year on monthly ($49.99 × 12). Business: $999.99/year vs $1,199.88/year on monthly. Same features, billed once.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You'll be prompted to upgrade when you hit a limit (e.g., trying to publish a 26th active event on Pro). Existing events keep running; you just can't publish new ones until you upgrade or until current ones complete.
