Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: November 2, 2026

Welcome to SocialLoop. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SocialLoop mobile application and website at socialloop.ai (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by SocialLoop Experiences Corporation ("SocialLoop," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use SocialLoop. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

2. Account Registration

3. Platform Description

SocialLoop is a social event discovery, ticketing, and connection platform that enables users to:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

4. Event Creation and Hosting

4.1 Host Responsibilities

If you create or host events on SocialLoop, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful event information (name, description, date, time, location, pricing)
  • Fulfill the event as described, or promptly notify attendees of any material changes or cancellations
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including venue permits, capacity limits, liquor licenses, and safety regulations
  • Not create events that promote illegal activity, discrimination, harassment, or violence
  • Respond to attendee inquiries in a timely manner

4.2 Event Content

You are solely responsible for the content of your event listings, including text, images, and descriptions. SocialLoop does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any event listing. We reserve the right to remove any event listing that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.

5. Tickets and Payments

5.1 Ticket Purchases

  • Ticket purchases are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • All ticket prices are displayed in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and fees will be shown before you complete your purchase.
  • Once a ticket purchase is confirmed, you will receive a digital ticket accessible through the SocialLoop app or via email.

5.2 Refund Policy

  • Refund policies are set by individual event hosts. Please review the event's refund policy before purchasing a ticket.
  • If an event is cancelled by the host, attendees will receive a full refund.
  • SocialLoop is not responsible for refunds related to event quality, personal dissatisfaction, or failure to attend.
  • Disputes regarding ticket refunds should first be directed to the event host. If unresolved, contact us at support@socialloop.ai.

5.3 Platform Fees

SocialLoop may charge service fees on ticket purchases. Any applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you complete a transaction. Fee structures may change with prior notice.

6. SMS and Communications

Paid ticket checkout identifies the event communications included with your purchase. Your ticket, receipt and essential event updates are sent by email. Text updates are optional: checkout shows existing event-text permission or offers a new selection for the displayed account phone. A new text opt-in applies to that event after a valid ticket is issued. Choosing email only at the payment action stops event texts immediately, even if payment does not complete. Your event-text choice does not grant marketing-text consent. Communities you join may send newsletters and future-event invitations by email unless you opt out, where permitted by applicable law. Organizers must obtain additional consent where required. Existing opt-outs remain effective.

6.1 Consent to Receive Messages

SocialLoop sends texts according to the permission you give in the applicable signup or subscription form. Event-text permission covers communications about events you join, including:

  • Event reminders and updates for events you've RSVP'd to
  • RSVP and ticket purchase confirmations

Selecting Marketing texts and pressing Agree & subscribe to marketing texts after checkout authorizes recurring automated marketing texts from the named community through SocialLoop, including community news, announcements and invitations to future events, which may be promotional. That one subscription covers those ongoing messages; you do not need to subscribe again for every announcement or invitation. It does not subscribe you to other communities. See Community text updates.

Community texts are optional and are not a condition of purchase or membership. Creating an account, providing a phone number, accepting these Terms or buying a ticket alone does not enroll you in community texts. Verification and security messages are sent when needed for the account action you request. Community email eligibility and SMS subscriptions are separate. A preselected text choice remains unsaved until you explicitly agree; skipping or closing the prompt does not grant consent. You may opt out as described below.

6.2 Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your event activity. You may receive up to 15 messages per month depending on event invitations and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Supported carriers include all major US carriers.

6.3 Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation message. SocialLoop also pauses event and community texts across the platform. Reply START in the same conversation to clear that sending number's opt-out; any other opt-outs and community preferences still apply. START does not create a new subscription. Reply HELP for support or contact support@socialloop.ai.

Opting out of SMS does not affect push notifications or email communications, which can be managed separately through app settings and email unsubscribe links. To stop only one community’s updates without leaving its membership, use My membership → Manage membership.

6.4 Event Invitations

Organizers can send event invitations and announcements to their eligible community text subscribers. An invitation may promote a future event, including an event requiring a paid ticket, within the community subscription described above. Each message identifies the community or organizer and SocialLoop. Past attendance or inclusion in a host's contact list alone does not enroll someone in community texts. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

6.5 Host Responsibilities for Invitations

If you are an event host and invite contacts to your events through SocialLoop, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the permission required for the message and channel you use, and can document it when requested
  • You respect the recipient's subscription choices and opt-outs; an existing relationship alone does not replace SMS consent
  • Your use of the invitation feature complies with all applicable laws
  • You will not use the platform to send unsolicited messages to purchased or scraped contact lists

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialLoop Experiences Corporation from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from messages sent to contacts you provided, including but not limited to claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar state and federal laws.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination at our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 SocialLoop's Rights

The Platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, code, features, and content created by SocialLoop, is owned by SocialLoop Experiences Corporation and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the Platform (event listings, profile information, photos). By posting content, you grant SocialLoop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where your content has been shared with others who have not deleted it.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocialLoop Experiences Corporation, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, any event attended through the Platform, or any interactions with other users, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to SocialLoop in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SocialLoop Experiences Corporation and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

12. Termination

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at support@socialloop.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

13.3 Arbitration

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California or remotely at your election. Each party shall bear its own costs, except as required by AAA rules.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
