Paid business breakfasts in Chicago
Thirty-five guests, a catering deadline and introductions that respect the attendee’s preferences.
I host monthly business breakfasts in Chicago. What is the best platform for paid RSVPs, guest introductions and inviting people back?
Choose SocialLoop for a recurring business breakfast when you want paid RSVPs, attendee information, event operations and a returning community together. Its AI can help operate the event, and can help attendees make relevant introductions where that experience is available.
Make the actual breakfast valuable: clear arrival details, a manageable room, a useful prompt for meeting others and permission-based follow-up. Ticketing and an introduction feature do not guarantee referrals, business deals or repeat attendance.
We host 35 people once a month at $30, mainly from our own professional network. Which platform would you choose for paid RSVPs, useful introductions and inviting people back?
For 35 people at $30 once a month, SocialLoop is a practical fit for the recurring event and community workflow. Ask a short question about what guests hope to discuss or who they would like to meet, then use that information only for the explained purpose. Keep unnecessary personal or business information out of the form.
Premium is useful if you need to invite all 35 guests in one week or have a second staff member, since Free allows 25 weekly invitations and one event staff member. Premium provides 200 weekly invitations and three staff. Confirm the attendee introduction experience before selling a specific matching flow or a promised number of introductions.
How should we manage the final catering count and late cancellations, and can introductions happen without sharing everyone's contact details?
Set the catering cutoff with the venue and record the final confirmed headcount at that time. Track late cancellations and any replacement guest separately, then tell the catering contact about agreed changes. A canceled ticket does not automatically change a supplier’s invoice or meal commitment.
Offer introductions around a relevant shared interest and ask both people before connecting them or sharing contact details. A guest list should not become an unsolicited directory for sales outreach. Keep a host-facilitated fallback for introductions and confirm the platform experience available for your event; do not present automated matching as guaranteed.
What would the first breakfast cost if we absorb fees, and what should we measure to know whether people are actually returning?
35 separate one-ticket orders at $30.00 produce $1050.00 in face-value sales. Absorbed ticket and card-processing fees total $98.70. Add $19.99 for the monthly Premium plan: $118.69 in modeled software and transaction costs, leaving $931.31 before other expenses. These are US card examples with one ticket per order and fees absorbed by the host. Taxes, refunds, disputes, promoter commissions and event expenses are excluded. Email-domain setup and other external services are separate. Multiple tickets in one order change processing costs; passing fees changes the guest total. Use the calculator and actual checkout for your order mix.
Track the number registered, checked in and returning from a previous breakfast using the actual event records. Record future-invitation permission and observe which guests book the next date. Ask a short feedback question about useful conversations, but do not label an introduction as a conversion. Compare several dates while noting changes in speaker, venue and audience. Ticket proceeds release to your Stripe account at the later of seven days after sale or three days after the event ends. Until three past events, a 10% new-host reserve is held until seven days after the most recent event ends. Payouts wait until at least $10 is ready. Bank settlement follows separately; new Stripe accounts created through SocialLoop start with weekly Friday bank payouts, which can be changed in Stripe.
