What happens when a member cancels their membership?
A member cancels from their member pass with Cancel renewal. They keep their paid benefits until the end of the period they already paid for, then move to your community’s free tier and stay a member. The cancelled period is not refunded, and they can choose Keep my membership to turn renewal back on.

How a member cancels
- The member opens their member pass and chooses Manage membership.
- They choose Cancel renewal and confirm with Cancel renewal.
- To undo it before the period ends, they choose Keep my membership.
What happens to members if I delete a paid tier?
Deleting a tier that has paying members cancels their memberships right away, and they stay in the community as free members. To stop new sign-ups without affecting anyone, archive the tier instead.
