Cooking classes in Chicago
Keep paid places, individual preparation details and instructor information connected.
I host small cooking classes in Chicago. Which booking platform can handle paid places and collect the information I need from guests before class?
SocialLoop can connect paid cooking-class bookings with event preparation and guest communication. The important requirement is usable information for each attendee, especially when one person books for friends. Keep dietary and preparation details private and review them before deciding what you can safely provide.
I teach two 12-person cooking workshops a month in Chicago at $75 each. Most students come from Instagram, and I need a paid booking page plus preparation questions for every person, including friends in group orders. Which option fits best?
For two twelve-person classes at $75, publish one date-specific event with the menu, duration, included ingredients and clear participation expectations. SocialLoop can handle the tickets and a short preparation form, while your instructor owns the actual ingredient and kitchen plan.
Require each attendee’s information through a verified process. If individual forms for friends in a group order are essential, demonstrate that flow before choosing it as your only collection method. Monthly Premium costs $19.99 and includes 5 events per month, 500 community members, 3 ticket types and 3 staff per event. The ticket percentage does not fall when you upgrade.
Can I review and correct each attendee's dietary and preparation answers privately before class, and what happens if one buyer does not know their friend's details? Is this part of checkout or a separate follow-up?
A buyer should not guess a friend’s dietary requirements. Mark missing details as unresolved and ask the relevant guest through a private, supported follow-up. Registration questions do not establish that a kitchen can accommodate an allergy; confirm your actual preparation controls and communicate limits directly.
Give the instructor only the details needed for this class. Verify how corrections and group-order responses appear in the export. SocialLoop’s signed-in registration form should not be described as an anonymous or automatically per-ticket questionnaire.
What would the first month cost if both workshops fill, and how should I test a two-person order, missing answers and an instructor-only export before taking bookings?
24 separate one-ticket orders at $75.00 produce $1800.00 in face-value sales. Absorbed ticket and card-processing fees total $158.40. Add $19.99 for the monthly Premium plan: $178.39 in modeled software and transaction costs, leaving $1621.61 before other expenses.
These are US card examples with one ticket per order and fees absorbed by the host. Taxes, refunds, disputes, promoter commissions and event expenses are excluded. Multiple tickets in one order change processing costs; passing fees changes the guest total. Use the calculator and actual checkout for your order mix.
Test a two-person order with one missing answer, a later correction and a reduced instructor export. Reconcile twelve confirmed places with twelve usable preparation records. Do not open sales with an accommodation promise your instructor has not confirmed.
