2026 Global Mixx Music and Film Forum

For two decades, Global Mixx has served as a launching pad for emerging talent and a gathering place for industry veterans — connecting people to opportunity, resources, and each other. The forum has hosted Grammy-winning artists, award-winning filmmakers, entertainment executives, and community leaders, all united by a commitment to culture, craft, and the next generation of creators. Past speakers have included filmmakers

George Tillman, Jr., Carl Seaton, Christine Swanson, Coodie Simmons and Chike, Sam Bailey, Robin Thede, along with music producers and artists Rico Love, Common, Kanye West, Syleena Johnson, Steve Hurley, Martin Atkins, DJ Classik, DJ Terry Hunter, Malik Yusef, Korporate, Twista, and many others.

The 17th Annual Forum takes place November 13–14, 2026, at Malcolm X College in Chicago, Illinois — featuring panel discussions, film screenings, artist showcases, mentorship sessions, a VIP awards reception, and the Global Mixx Expo.
