For Wellness Retreat Hosts

For wellness retreats.Where curation is the experience.

A wellness retreat is curation made physical. Twelve people, one location, four days. Who is in the cohort decides whether the retreat works. Application gating, custom intake, member-tier access for repeat retreatants — the architecture of a great retreat. SocialLoop ships them as defaults.

A wellness retreat is a multi-day, often residential program — typically 8–30 participants, application-gated, with deposit-then-balance payment flow and curated cohort selection. SocialLoop runs wellness retreats with application-gated ticketing (Stripe authorizes on application, captures on approval), custom AI-generated intake forms (dietary, accessibility, intentions), cross-retreat form pre-fill for repeat retreatants, member tiers for inner-circle access, AI-generated immersive invitation pages per retreat, and a wellness-partner affiliate program for adjacent teachers and curators with privacy-walled distribution and automated Stripe Connect payouts.

The shape of a retreat that fills itself

A great retreat fills the second time before it has finished happening. Past attendees ask when the next one is. Adjacent wellness teachers refer their students. The retreat host's newsletter announces it; the email opens are higher than any other content because retreatants self-select hard.

But the work behind that compounding is operationally heavy. Application forms, intake questionnaires, deposit-then-balance payment flows, dietary and accessibility intake, room-pairing logistics, partner referral tracking. The legacy stack — Squarespace landing page, Calendly application, Stripe checkout link, separate intake form, manual partner spreadsheet — is held together by the host's attention.

SocialLoop is built for the retreat host who wants the operational pieces to compound, not consume. Application gating with capture-on-approval, custom AI-generated intake forms, cross-retreat form pre-fill for repeat attendees, member tier for inner-circle access, and a privacy-walled partner program where wellness collaborators distribute through their lists.

What you get on SocialLoop

Application-gated ticketing with capture-on-approval

Applicants commit deposit intent on submit; Stripe charges only on your approval. Curate every retreatant without losing committed-intent. The card is real; the charge is conditional on you saying yes.

Custom AI-generated intake forms

Describe what you need to surface — dietary requirements, accessibility needs, retreat history, intentions for the cohort. AI drafts a form up to 10 questions; you refine. Applicants fill once.

Cross-retreat form pre-fill

Repeat retreatants do not re-fill the same intake every retreat. Their answers carry across retreats on SocialLoop. New retreatants get the full form; returning ones get a review-and-update flow.

AI immersive invitation pages, per retreat

Each retreat gets its own designed invitation page — typography, motion, color matched to the location and cohort intent. A jungle retreat does not look like a mountain retreat. Not a template.

Wellness-partner affiliate program

Adjacent wellness teachers, yoga studios, and retreat-curator newsletters distribute through their lists. They become privacy-walled affiliates — drive applicants without seeing your retreatant list, automated Stripe Connect payouts post-retreat.

Member tiers for inner-circle access

Past retreatants get reserved access before public release. Annual member tier for hosts who run multiple retreats per year — members get early access, member-only retreats, or discounted pricing.

Multi-channel AI campaigns

One prompt builds the announcement → application open → application close → committed-cohort sequence across email, SMS, and in-app. Drafted in your retreat voice; you edit and send.

Source attribution per registration

Every application tags partner × campaign × link × platform. You see exactly which wellness teacher's newsletter brought which applicants, which Instagram post drove the cohort.

The pains we built this for

Application forms in Google Forms, payment in Stripe Checkout, intake in Typeform

Three tools, three logins, three spreadsheets. SocialLoop integrates application + intake + payment in one flow. The applicant fills once; you review once; the cohort coheres.

Repeat retreatants filling the same intake every retreat

A loyal retreatant who attends three retreats a year fills the same dietary, accessibility, and intentions intake three times. Cross-retreat form pre-fill carries answers across events.

Wellness partner referrals on a manual spreadsheet

Adjacent teachers refer students; you owe them commission; you reconcile manually after each retreat. The wellness-partner affiliate program automates this — codes, attribution, Stripe Connect payouts.

Generic retreat landing pages that do not match the cohort

A 12-person silent retreat in the jungle should not look like a yoga teacher training in a city studio. AI-generated immersive invitation pages match the cohort — the page is the first part of the retreat.

Common questions

How does application-gated ticketing work for a retreat?

Applicants submit committed payment intent (deposit or full price) at the time of application. The card is authorized, not charged. When you approve, Stripe captures and the applicant becomes a confirmed retreatant. When you decline, the authorization releases. This lets you curate the cohort without losing committed-intent — a structural advantage over free-applies-then-charge flows.

Can I run a deposit-then-balance payment flow?

Yes. Application can require a deposit; the balance can fire on a scheduled date or on a separate approval. Configure per retreat.

How does the wellness-partner affiliate program work?

You invite adjacent teachers, studios, or retreat-curator newsletters by email. They register through Stripe Connect during onboarding, get unique codes and trackable smart links, distribute through their list, and earn commission per registration. They see attribution and earnings; they do not see your retreatant list. Commissions automate post-retreat.

Can custom intake questions vary per retreat type?

Yes. Each retreat can have its own custom form — silent retreat surfaces different questions than a movement retreat. AI drafts forms from your description; you refine. Cross-retreat form pre-fill is question-level (a returning retreatant's dietary answers carry; new retreat-specific questions ask fresh).

How does this compare to a Squarespace + Stripe + Typeform stack?

That stack works but each tool runs separately. Squarespace hosts the landing; Typeform takes the application; Stripe handles payment; partner referrals reconcile manually. SocialLoop integrates all four — landing page, application, payment, and partner program — in one studio with AI-generated invitation pages, intake forms, and campaigns.

Can I migrate past retreatant lists into SocialLoop?

Yes. Import past retreatant lists from external sources (Mailchimp, contact files, past intake exports), merge into one network. Member tier status and retreat history carry over.
